Wooden Animals Party Set

It's a party over here! Seven different African animals carved from muhugu wood. Each animal is approx. 7 inches tall. Sold as a set of 6 animals, including table.

Working with more than 100 individual carvers in Machakos, Kenya, these African handicrafts are primarily made of responsibly sourced wood. Carving is a tradition in Kenya with the children learning the craft from their parents. Carved by hand using only rudimentary hand tools, they take shape from pieces of olive wood, mahogany, and mpingo, or "African Ebony."

• Periodically treat wood with food-grade mineral oil or olive oil to maintain their beauty and luster.
